21 Mar Petroleum Card Services Announces Key Addition to Leadership Team
Seasoned payments veteran will help fuel double-digit growth
Minden, NV, March 21, 2017 —
Petroleum Card Services (PCS), a premier provider of payment processing solutions geared specifically for independent petroleum and convenience store (cstore) owners, announced the addition of industry veteran, Pete Embs as Vice President and Business Unit Head. A seasoned payments professional with more than 14 years of experience, Pete will have overall responsibility for the business, overseeing sales, operations and day-today management. He will report to Robert Purcell, CFO, iPayment, Inc., PCS’ parent company.

Pete previously served as Director of Revenue and Financial Planning for iPayment, a role he had held since 2012. In that position, he was responsible for a broad array of business management analyses, performance based reporting and special projects, including working with PCS. He spent the first nine years of his career with WorldPay, holding several positions in and around sales management and finance, including Vice President, Planning and Productivity Management. Pete earned his MBA from Georgia State University and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Virginia Tech.
